It's YOU! Hello! Nice to see you! Here you will find stuff about living a creative life in country Australia. I create with watercolour, pen, collage, mixed media and photos. I teach, hosts workshops, collect, dream. I love cheese, travel, my garden, faffing, colour and whimsy. I am crap at time management, and do way too many things, but it is all good. Oh yes, all pictures and photos on here by me too, just saying.

2 WEEKS OF ART, MAKING, PAINTING, SKETCHING ETC ETC ETC...

2 WEEKS OF ART, MAKING, PAINTING, SKETCHING  ETC ETC ETC...

Okay, the truth of it is,even though I create more than most average people(so I have been told),I still do not create as much as I would like to.

And often when I do sit down to make something,I am not sure what will come out onto the paper.

Commissions are different, of course, with a designated theme, colouring,story,idea...that I am adhering to.And if I am doing something for a specific challenge too.

But sometimes, while that piece is drying,I will do a quick collage or sketch or another little watercolour...because I have a lot of my things for creating right there, paper, paints, scissors, tape, pencils...right there at my fingertips.

And the constrains of the I HAVE TO DO, give way to...let's just do.

Then at the end of the day, I end up with bits and pieces totally unplanned.Sometimes these things happen at the start of the day,as a doodling sketch over my morning cuppa.

Or maybe they were always teeny tiny kernels of little ideas!

So, for no other reason than to remind me of what I did this fortnight,(and the hope you like them!) here is a little look back on some of the things I did this past couple of weeks.Actually, this is not everything,by any means, just some.

Can you guess the commissions and challenges from the other things?
