rosemary and afternoon Autumn sun
Home+Light+Love
Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year out here in Central West NSW.Blue skies, chill in the air, but sun still with warmth in it.The soil is still warm, the deciduous trees trees are starting to turn. The light floods into our living rooms, golden and smooth, full and sensual. It hasn't yet become thin, with a steely grey edge to it,like in mid Winter.
That warmth, the golden hue,is even better when shadows are thrown,on walls,on ceilings, around the room.
Okay, true,my birthday is in Autumn,so maybe that skews my feelings about Autumn.Maybe!
So these are some little snaps of light, glowing and lovely, grabbed in little moments as they happen, around my home.Nothing grand, nothing monumental or significant.Just quiet little, simple moments, the ones that catch me,make me double take, make me sigh a little.
Photography is the capture of light,so I love the honesty and the humbleness of the everyday slices of time. It's why I use my phone as a camera so much more than my big Daddy camera now... just having that little rectangle on me,ready to snap away quickly and easily,is so cool!
I don't think I am the only one who this has happened to... at least I hope not.Are you guilty of this too?
