corrugated
eye candy and the killing of zombies
I live in the country.
I am a townie though.
I am a 'blow in'.
Farms still hold that mystique and magic, rough and elemental.
Over time, my eye has come to seek out the rusted, the new, the forgotten, the left behind and discarded. My eye sees the little vignettes of loveliness, and now, with my trusty phone/camera at my side, I am free to snap away...and I do!
These snaps were taken when I was dropping off my son for a playdate at a mates place. I was being watched continuously by the working dogs, caged up and suspiciously curious about the human stranger stomping about the yards and sheds. They strained to see my every move.My son's friend wondered what the hell I was doing, what could I possibly find interesting in all that stuff?
My son, used to such shenanigans , just shrugged, and suggested they go and start killing zombies, inside where it was warm.
